Films on college entrance exams marks 60th anniversary

A movie entitled "College Entrance Examination" is the latest effort to mark
the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The film
is set against the historical backdrop of 1977 when college entrance exams were
revived, enabling thousands to return to institutions of higher learning after
the Cultural Revolution. The film revolves around lead actor Wang Xuebing, who
gives up a life-changing opportunity for his loved ones. "College Entrance
Examination" premieres in cinemas nationwide on April 3rd.
