China became the first Asian team to win a curling world championship. They
beat Sweden 8-6 in South Korea on Sunday.

China exchanged misses with Sweden in the first few ends before scoring the
first deuce in the fourth end for a 3-1 lead.

But then, Sweden closed the gap to 5-4,drawing for two in the seventh end.
But China got two points back on measurement in the eighth end for a 7-4 lead,
before Sweden found a way to wrangle two points and closed the gap to one at the
9th.

Sweden had one buried behind cover in the final end until the last stone,
which they put into the rings instead of on guard. Then, China made a perfect
double-takeout to score the historic win.
